With golf back to four players, 60 Yamba Senior golfers competed in a single Stapleford event on Monday May 18.

The men’s winner was Alex Podbereski with 38 points followed by David Barnsley on 36 points. 

The ball rundown went to 34 points and included Lester English, Danny Quinn, Warren Hughes, Ken Lillie, Phil McDonald, Bob Walpole, Col Simmons, Dave Wilson, Harold Roberts and John Stuckey.

The ladies winner was Lesley Love with 37 points followed by Sue Wilson on 36 points.

The ball rundown went to 33 points and included Noni B Rixon, Janine Ziestch, Lee Daley, Jenny Fagan and Anne Marie James.

It is great to see such a large field of players. Let us hope it will continue into the future.
