Eight members went to the Yamba museum on Wednesday week and had a very interesting few hours, and we were made welcome by the volunteers.
The museum is a lot different to the last time I was there; it is now more like a history museum which is better. Trish Bowes (ex school teacher) has lived in the Lower Clarence all her life told us all about the area and one of our members Margaret Smith helped her as well.
After the visit we went to morning tea in the old church and Keith sat with us and told us a lot, it was a great morning and the morning tea was a good spread.
I would recommend a visit and morning tea to any group, it is well worth it.
