Members are asked to be at the meeting on Friday May 31 as we are having a special guest speaker, Clarence Valley Council mayor Jim Simmons who will answer questions from members. If you have a question, come along and ask – now is your chance.    

The meeting will also include important matters to discuss within the group, so make sure you attend if you can.

Do not forget the extra social morning on Wednesday May 22; same time same place.

Any new people to town over the age of 50 are most welcome to come along to Yamba Bowling Club at 9.15am to play Hoi, have morning tea and engage in lots of talk and laughter and meet new people.  

The Dean Doyle night show is on May 25, so make sure you get your tickets at the Club before day at a cost of $20.  

Seven ladies went overseas to Iluka Golf Club for Mothers Day. They had a lovely trip on the ferry and a great meal and all received a Mother Day card… thank you Shirley they were beautiful.

Hope all on the sick list are getting better.
