Yamba Road roundabouts completed

Clarence Valley Council and SEE Civil are pleased to announce the roundabout at Shores Drive, Yamba is fully functional, well ahead of schedule. The finishing touches, including line marking and landscaping were completed in early July, bringing to completion the final roundabout project in Yamba.
Clarence Valley Council’s Director of Civil and Works Jamie Fleeting said the team was happy this project has been finished five months ahead of schedule.
“The team have worked very hard to ensure that the traffic flow along Yamba Road was maintained throughout the project, minimising the impacts on the community wherever possible. This was not always an easy task with constant traffic and some adverse weather.”
“During the construction of the three Yamba roundabouts we have developed a strong working partnership with SEE Civil.”
The collaboration has benefitted the community in many ways, especially with the use of local contractors who have completed much of the works.”
SEE Civil’s Senior Project Manager Rob Blyth said it was an aim of the project to ensure that everyone affected by the works was well informed.
“We have worked closely with the community throughout these road works, ensuring that residents and business owners have been consulted at all stages of the project.”
“Overall, we have experienced a high level of professionalism and outstanding performance between our staff and those at Clarence Valley Council,” he said.
