Yamba Red Cross members would like to thank the community for supporting our garage sale which was held in conjunction with Palm Lake Resort garage sale last Saturday week. Most of the items were sold and we had a good result. 

On Tuesday morning of last week our members provided a lovely morning tea for residents of Caroona Aged Care. The get-together was most enjoyable and the residents enjoyed socialising with our members. Thank you to those members who made the morning so special. We plan to have another morning tea in approximately 6 months. 

Our next fundraiser will be the special premier screening of the heartfelt Aussie love story ‘Top End Wedding’ on Thursday May 2 from 10.30am – seating is allocated when tickets are purchased – seats are strictly limited to 80 so purchase before you miss out; tickets on sale now at $15 include movie and morning tea on arrival – then try your luck to win some great prizes in our raffle and chocolate wheel. Screening at the bottom Cinema call in or phone 6645 2150 for bookings. 

Blood donor days for April are Monday April 29 from 2pm to 6.30pm and Tuesday 30 from 10am to 2pm. Please register with Lismore Blood Bank as walk-ins may be turned away. 

Our Easter raffle was drawn on Thursday April 18 and results will be published shortly. We would like to thank the community for purchasing raffle tickets. All funds raised from raffles and other fundraisers go towards the ongoing work of Australian Red Cross both in Australia and overseas.
