Yamba Red Cross members would like to take this opportunity to thank the community for their generous support in purchasing raffle tickets and donating to our Christmas raffle which was drawn on Saturday December 7. Winners were: 1st – Laura O’Brien; 2nd – Margaret Kable; 3rd – Phil Boughton; 4th – Bev Daley and 5th Karen Jessop. We would also like to thank Coles, Dunes Cafe and Priceline and Yamba Fair Butchery for their generous donations.

At our monthly meeting on Saturday we were delighted to have your regional operations manager Celeste Hartmann from Ballina and our Deputy Zone 3 representative David Dodsworth and secretary of Woolgoolga branch Annette Dodsworth join us and afterwards enjoy a wonderful Christmas lunch provided by our members. Thank you to those members who supplied wonderful salads and sweets. 

Blood donor  days will be December 9-10 at the Yamba Bowling Club. The next blood donor days will be January 20-21; please register with Lismore Blood Service as walk-ins could be turned away.   

Yamba Red Cross members would like to thank the community for their support throughout the year and  wish everyone a happy Christmas and a bright and healthy New Year.
