On November 21 we will be holding a movie fundraiser at the bottom theatre in Yamba. The movie will be ‘Fisherman’s Friends’ which is set in Cornwall. 

Morning tea will be available along with the selling of chocolate wheel and raffle prizes.  Please check local papers for details, and come along and enjoy the movie, along with delicious morning tea and great prizes. 

Our Christmas merchandise catalogues have arrived and we will be selling Christmas cards, calendars, diaries etc at the various clubs in our area: Yamba Golf Club – November 20; Mareeba Aged Care – Maclean November 25; Yamba Bowling Club – November 28. 

Our members would like to thank the ladies of the Palm Lake Resort Craft Group for their assistance in sewing and filling the trauma teddies which have been kindly knitted by various members of the community. These teddies are greatly appreciated by doctors surgeries, pathology departments, ambulance, dentists, hospital and aged care facilities given to those patients suffering from trauma etc.

There will be no blood donor days for November; the next dates December 9-10 at the Yamba Bowling Club.
