Animals play an important part in our lives, we either love them or fear them, eat and protect them. So it its little wonder that the Yamba Museum’s next blockbuster exhibition will be developed around this theme. Yamba Museum curator Marea Buist is asking the community for contributions. “This exhibition is titled ‘Animals & Us’ and explores animal-human relationships from a range of different perspectives. The selected themes will look at how humans understand and interact with animals in our everyday lives and will feature a wide range of animals from the wild to domestic, from real to imaginary. We really need your help to form the collection. If you have any animal ornaments, toys, novelties, Disney comics, posters of displayable size and would be willing to loan them to us we would like to hear from you” Mrs Buist said. If you can help out please phone 6646 1399 or drop into the Yamba Museum Monday to Thursday.
