ALL golfing for Yamba ladies to cease

Yamba lady golfers are saddened that Yamba Golf and Country Club is now closed due to restrictions as a result of the ever-developing Coronavirus situation.

The NSW Department of Health and the Office of Sport has changed the classification of golf to a ‘Non-essential’ activity. As such, the playing of golf (social or competition) is contrary to ‘Stay at Home’ NSW Public Health orders.

Heavy penalties may be imposed for any person who chooses to access the course. Also the use of practice facilities at the Yamba Golf Club is prohibited. All golfing activities are considered non-essential.

We thank you for your continued support through these unprecedented challenges. Working together and respecting each other through this very challenging time will allow us to return to our beautiful club and course in the near future.

Golf Australia and Golf NSW have announced a change of mind so the Yamba golf course will now remain open.
