Yamba ladies 2BBB v Par finals

The Wednesday June 15 Single Stableford and final round of the 36-hole Eclectic competition had 48 ladies involved and conditions were the best we have had for many months.

It was great to welcome back Jenny Dewar, Phyllis Telfer, Irene Williams and Joy Williams who we haven’t seen in quite a while. Carrie Aitken also announced her return after two weeks away by playing a blistering round.

Fiona and Fay won the match 4/3 after beginning the back nine. Congratulations to all four ladies but especially our winners.

Eleven ladies, including three promising young Grafton players and our very own Tana Lowe, played on Saturday morning in perfect conditions. Hollie Fuller (GA 2.0) scored 38pts to beat Nadene Carroll (37pts). Kylie Lowe won the NTP. Well done.

Due to this week’s CHS Golf Championships, there will be no competition held on Wednesday, but Friday’s Stableford round will go ahead. Please keep abreast of upcoming matches by checking the noticeboards in the Golfers’ lounge and ladies locker room and make the necessary entries through Margery.

Have a great week of golf.
