I was fortunate recently to see a group of Rotary volunteers repairing the damage graffiti has done to the appearance of the bus sheds and other council owned properties in Yamba.
I also take my hat off to Clarence Valley Council with their community news details of what council rangers have achieved for all of us.
I don’t want this part of the letter to detract from thanking those people for their good work. I am aware of the recent newspaper articles of the warnings, fines and jail sentences handed to consistent graffiti offenders in Sydney, which should show how detested they are in our society.
The number of youngsters enjoying the clean and good surroundings at the (Yamba) skate park was a pleasure to behold.
