Yamba Evening VIEW Club

Hello ladies, this year we have had so many fabulous guest speakers at our meetings; get ready for yet another.

Take the trip to Montmartre Paris, just look for the red windmill on the corner of Boulevard de Clichy and Place Blanche, now you are ready to be transported to the cabaret to join Merindah Byrne-Pretet.

Hear Merindah’s personal account, over a ten year period as one of Moulin Rouge dancers.  I’m sure we will all be spellbound and wishing that we had lovely long legs, and could dance!

As usual we meet at Yamba Shores Tavern, Monday July 1from 6pm for a 7pm start.

Please call Genie on 0415 312725, or email genie.drummond@gmail.com with your acceptance or apology, no later than Wednesday June 26.

A social morning tea will be held at The Block Yamba on Friday June 21 at 10am. If you are free, do come along and enjoy a cuppa or a coffee, companionship, and a laugh or two; all welcome.

Our club is sponsoring seven students at present in ‘The Learning for Life’ program, run by the Smith Family, assisted by VIEW Clubs Australia.

A very worthy cause indeed, giving hope to a child living in poverty a chance to have an education, a gift that keeps giving.

If you are new to our amazing part of the world, please come along and sample some of our home grown hospitality, make new friends, all whilst enjoying dinner, listening to our monthly guest speaker, and going home at the end of the evening knowing that you have helped make a difference in a child’s life.

Just call Genie to book in, she will look after you.

Remember:  Be someone’s strength, be someone’s inspiration, be someone’s reason never to give up.
