Yamba Evening VIEW Club

The 2020 International Women’s Day was a great success with a lot of inspirational speakers and entertainers. The event raised critical funds to help Australian children and young people break the cycle of poverty through our Smith Family ‘Learning for Life’ contributions and it is fabulous that we had such a fun time doing it.

Looking forward, our March 30 dinner will be a great opportunity to hear from Rex Wiseman about the Clarence ferries, linking our beautiful Yamba and Iluka towns and offering scenic cruises, cruising the Clarence with live entertainment and local knowledge on the largest river on the eastern seaboard.

Our dinner meetings are held in the beautiful restaurant at The Yamba Shores Tavern. If you would like to come early and mingle we are there from 6pm with a 7pm start.

If you’re visiting, or are new to the area and would like to enjoy the evening with us, contact Marlene Woodbridge our catering liaison officer who will make you very welcome.

Marlene’s contact details are 0400 528 846, or email yambaview@gmail.com with your acceptance or apology by Monday March 23, we’d love to see you there.

I’d also like to thank Liz Bailey and Pauline Horkings for their work and time in the delegate and secretary roles on our committee. Liz Slater and myself have stepped into the roles and are very appreciative of the warm welcome we were extended.
