Yamba Day VIEW Club will be hosting a morning tea/lunch on Friday July 26, at the bottom Cinema, Yamba.
Yamba Day VIEW Club has quite a reputation for their delicious little delicacies on offer and we are set not to disappoint. Our chosen movie is Red Joan, the story of Joan Stanley, who was exposed as the KGB’s longest serving British spy.
The story so far…..Joan Stanley is a widow, living out a quiet retirement in the suburbs, when shockingly, the British Secret Service places her under arrest. The charges: providing classified scientific information – including details of the building of the atomic bomb to the Soviet government for decades. Now have we got you interested?
Along with Judi Dench in the starring role this promises to be an intriguing movie; commencement time to be advised for morning tea.
This fundraiser will help us support five Australian children from families who from sickness, disability, change in employment circumstances, or other difficult situations, have been chosen by The Smith Family as requiring assistance. Come along, help us support this worth cause.
