Yamba Day VIEW – a morning at the farm

An enjoyable morning was recently spent at the peach farm, near Iluka turnoff.

It was decided to take a further trip when the nectarines and peaches were at picking stage, or maybe it was the delicious morning tea and sausage rolls taken home by some, that swayed the decision to go back.

It was just nice and peaceful roaming around the farmyard in the fresh air looking at the trees starting to fruit or some still flowering.

Our next Committee meeting will be on, Monday September 14 at 10am at the Bowlo.

The luncheon meeting will be held Monday 21, from 10am at the Bowlo, with two guest speakers from Uniting Care, discussing the new accommodation becoming available.

A President and Delegates meeting will be held on Wednesday September 23 at 11am at the Bowlo.

Social morning is Monday September 28 at Angourie Café for coffee at 10am. A lovely quiet place for some VIEW friendship.

Please phone Lyn on 6646 3164 for luncheon bookings or cancellations.

Best wishes to those members who are not well and hello to faces we have missed.
