Yamba CWA welcomed in there new executive this week: Pam Hewitt – president; Jo Edgar – secretary and Leonie Saunders – treasurer. All other members took on active roles in the branch taking on the various positions of cultural, international, ag & environment, handicraft and cookery.

Yamba CWA meet each 3rd Thursday at 10am at Treelands Drive Community Centre.

Three members attended the North Coast AGM on Wednesday at Grafton. Tanya Cameron OAM, CWA of Australia president, past president of CWA of NSW was the guest speaker and she informed us of the many different causes where CWA are advocating for better things for our regional areas. Jennifer Chisholm from Gulmarrad was the winner of the South Grafton nursing grant. 

A lovely day was had by all CWA members and it was interesting to hear what the other branches between Iluka to Urunga are doing.
