For Sue and Roger Varcoe and their team at Yamba Flooring Xtra, their passion, product knowledge and friendly customer service has contributed to them taking out the Flooring Xcellence Program – NSW Top Store Award, at the Flooring Xtra annual conference.

Sue said that the there were 85 stores from around Australia (22 from NSW and ACT), which attended the national conference at the Sunshine Coast, on August 16-17.

“We were shocked and surprised that Yamba were the winners for this year,” Sue said.

“Winning this award was an amazing achievement that we never dreamt we would ever get, because all the stores are just so amazing and have such a high standard.

“It’s been a lot of hard work over the last eight years since we’ve been in business in Yamba, after moving here from England.

“Year after year we’ve strived to grow our business; and we couldn’t do that without all our valuable customers.

“We’ve wanted to create the ‘wow’ factor when you walk into our store. We want our customers to feel special, as if they are walking into a home, so that they can imagine what our quality products will look like in their own home.

“It’s now paying off, as we’re getting repeat customers and referrals from friends that have been pleased with the jobs that we’ve done.

“We’d like to thank our wonderful staff Deb and Eleanor, as well as our amazing team of installers and suppliers and everyone who’s involved in our business, that have all helped in making it a success,” she said.
