Wooloweyah concert postponed

Internationally renowned singer-songwriter Emily Barker has been forced to postpone her upcoming concert at Wooloweyah Hall on January 14 due to increasing Covid-19 infections and the rapid spread of the Omicron variant across NSW.

Ms Barker was scheduled to perform alongside Lukas Drinkwater as part of her 2022 tour to promote her latest album, A Dark Murmuration of Words.

Event Promoter Phil Nicholas from Events Delivered revealed there is a chance the Wooloweyah concert could possibly be rescheduled within the next two months before Ms Barker returns to England.

“Emily and Lukas have cancelled their East Coast travel plans due to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant and will wait out this current period in WA,” he said.

Mr Nicholas also confirmed ticket holders have been notified of the postponement and all tickets will remain valid if the concert is able to be rescheduled at a later date.

Anyone unable to attend a rescheduled concert will be entitled to a refund.
