Young Wooli surfer Carly Shanahan has spent this week (March 20-22) honing her skills at the Hurley Surfing Australia High Performance Centre (HPC) on the Tweed Coast. Eighteen junior male and female competitors, who won the U14 divisions during the 2016/17 Wahu Surfer Groms Comps series, were selected to participate in the all-expenses paid training program. During the camp, the surfers were put through their paces with a combination of surfing and video analysis, competition strategies and strength and gymnastic training.
