As part of the 53 Islands initiative Ferry Park Gallery conducted an art and craft competition with the theme ’Islands of the Clarence’.
The community entries included a range of fabulous work including paintings, woodwork, felting, jewellery, knitting, fabric dying, collage and more.
The public voted Karl Rubli’s woodwork ‘Baring the Islands’ as the winner, Kerry Cranney’s painting ‘Island’ as second and Roy Ellery’s woodwork ‘Captured Reef’ as third. Isabella Devine won the junior section with her beautiful diorama of the river and local environment.
Congratulations to the winners and all members of the community who entered.
