Grafton’s See Park has hosted countless weddings, kids birthday parties, family get-togethers and thousands of visitors to the annual Jacaranda Festival, but could it be even better?
Clarence Valley Council is asking for community feedback on plans for the park and has put together a web page (www.clarenceconversations.com.au/see-park) where people can take a survey or offer their thoughts.
Senior parks and recreation officer, Rachelle Passmore, said she would like to hear about some of the things people like about the park and where improvements could be made.
“We want to know what elements the community feels are important in any redevelopment of See Park,” she said.
“We want to know what people use it for or is there anything missing that should be included in any future plans for it?”
Ms Passmore and other members of the council’s open spaces team would be on site at See Park at 11am on Tuesday (July 9) and Saturday July 13 to speak with members of the public to get their views.
