Around 9:30 p.m. last night the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked from their Tamworth and Lismore bases respectively to a serious single vehicle MVA on East Bank Road at Nana Glen, northwest of Coffs Harbour.
There were three passengers on board who were all trapped for sometime until released by emergency services.
A male in his 20’s was treated on scene by NSWA paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team for serious multiple injuries. He was placed in a medically induced coma and was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
A 16 year old female was treated on scene by NSWA paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team for serious head injuries. She was placed in a medically induced coma and transported to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.
The third patient a female in her late teens was treated on scene by NSWA paramedics and transported to Coffs Harbour Hospital with minor injuries.
