cvreview-imagesc   Each year it is the support of volunteers that keeps the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter’s seven Op Shops open and raising vital funds to help the Service save lives. Their Yamba Op Shop plays an important role in this and is currently seeking the support of new volunteers to lend a helping hand in the busy shop. Fundraising Manager for the rescue helicopters, Zeke Huish commented “Our Op Shops provide a great social atmosphere for volunteers to enjoy their time and make new friends”. “Best of all, being a volunteer means you can give as much or as little of your time as you like with some of our volunteers helping one morning or afternoon a week”. If you have a few hours spare each week and would like to find out more, contact the Shop directly on 6646 2779 or the Service’s Volunteer Coordinator on 0412 788 194.
