To all those wonderful people

Dear Ed,

Back on the 19th April 2020 my husband Roy had a bad fall out side the Yamba Community Centre and I can’t thank all those people enough who have been involved  in getting him better.

Firstly the staff and nurses at the Community Centre, Yamba who came to his aid before the ambulances arrived, in 15 minutes, and then to the ambulance men who took him to Grafton emergency, where he was well cared for until he went up to the wards, again where he was very well looked after by all the staff.

When he was strong enough to be discharged by the doctors from the hospital by hospital transport he was then moved to Maclean Rehab.

He spent two weeks there doing lots of exercises and walking, cared for by physio, nurses, OT etc and doctors attending him regularly as well as the kitchen and cleaning staff.

On his arrive home he was then cared for by the Transition Home care team for 12 weeks.

We are so lucky in the Clarence Valley to have all these wonderful medical facilities to take care of us all when needed.

Margaret Kable, Yamba
