Last Sunday week saw the launch of the Macleles new 13 track CD, a fitting celebration for International Women’s Day. ‘Strum the Frock’ features 13 original songs by the six piece all women band. And wasn’t it fun, a great time was had by all.
There are a limited number of CD’s still available for $20 through Kingstudio in Maclean, Yamba Picture Framers, or order via the Macleles Music Facebook page. A great opportunity for the Clarence Valley to support home grown artists.

“Very clever lyrics” was one response ”Witty and topical” was another. The band sounded great as they performed their eclectic mix of passion and power in the main gallery at Kingstudio in Maclean which provided fantastic acoustics for the multi instrumental group.

The attentive crowd were impressed by the live performance and the CD as sales went through the roof.
