A fun day is assured when the Grafton Support Group for Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter holds its fourth annual Barefoot Bowls Day on Sunday 29th May at the Grafton District Services Club. The Grafton Volunteer Support Group was formed several years ago to support and raise funds for the Northern Region SLSA Helicopter Rescue Service. The service relies on the support of the community and corporate sector to help fundraise over $5M of its annual operating budget. The day begins at 10am and finishes with a free sausage sizzle at 12noon. The cost is $40 for teams of 4 players. A raffle is being run in conjunction with the day with first prize being a Baby Webber Q. Tickets will be sold at the Grafton Mall on Saturday, 21st and 28th May as well as on the day.
