Lynne Mowbray | The Fair Butcher in Maclean held its official opening in grand style on Saturday. The Maclean and District Pipe Band played at the opening for around an hour, even piping (very loudly) through the butcher shop, much to the delight of the owner and staff. There was a BBQ running throughout the day, along with face painting for the children and a cake cutting to celebrate the opening. New owner Chris O’Connor said that it was a fantastic day. “I’d like to thank the community and the band for their support on the day and we’re looking forward to the future,” Chris said.
