Thank you from Prostate Cancer Support Group

Ed,

I write on behalf of the Clarence Valley Prostate Cancer Partner’s Support Group to thank our local community for their ongoing support for 2021.

With many local men and families in our community impacted by prostate cancer, our group offer support and friendship. We also promote PCFA information sites and the PCFA Specialist Nurses and the new Telenursing Service for expert advice to those effected by prostate cancer in our area.

Community awareness is the key to overcoming Prostate cancer.  Over the past 25 years we’ve successfully boosted survival rates from 73% to 95%, and PCFA could not have done this without donation and support from communities.

Over the Christmas period, please consider making a donation to PCFA for men and families facing prostate cancer and know our support group is here if needed.

MEN over 50 – Give yourself a Christmas present and book yourself into your local doctor and ask for a PSA blood test so you will have a base line for your prostate health.

To talk to a PCFA Specialist Nurse or join a support group, call 1800

220099 or go to www.pcfa.org.au.  For local support, phone 0415350974.

Best wishes to you and your loves ones for a healthy, safe and happy 2022.

Glad Smith (Coordinator of CV Prostate Cancer Support Group)
