Hundreds of Clarence Valley residents attended the Team Aidan Christmas Markets and Monster Auction at the Clarence River Jockey Club (CRJC) on November 24.

Featuring a variety of market stalls, performances by dancers from Studio One Dance Academy (SODA), face painting, live music, and kids rides, the event also included an impressive line-up of classic and vintage vehicles which were proudly showcased to the public by their adoring owners.

Loving Life FM 103.1 broadcast live from the event throughout the morning while members of the Grafton Country Women’s Association (CWA) Branch were kept busy during the day, with plenty of customers lining up to buy some delicious homemade goodies.

All proceeds raised from the event will go towards purchasing fuel vouchers to assist cancer patients at the Grafton Base Hospital (GBH) Oncology Unit.

At the time of publication, the total amount raised form the Team Aidan Christmas Markets and Monster Auction was still being counted.

Throughout the past three years, Team Aidan has raised more than $100000 with every dollar raised staying local.

Make sure you purchase a copy of the Clarence Valley Independent next week when we catch up with Team Aidan.
