Taylor-made victory

Tuesday was another pearler, blue skies and lovely cool morning… minus the mossies. This all agreed with Gary Taylor so much so that he returned a 24pt haul in the Stableford event with Maclean Bravehearts at Maclean Golf Club.

He was awarded the Caperberry Cafe $20 meal voucher and added to that with nearest the pin on the 11th taking the tin of Anzac biscuits for his trouble. We also had a lowest putts comp and Gary managed to win that too with 17 strokes, not really a great score but good enough to win the prize.

Second place was Phil Meek with 16 scoring the bottle of red wine, third was John Hopkins who was absent and can claim a prize at next Tuesdays game (either a Tartan Pizza meal or Yamba Cinema pass).

The other NTP was won by John Hopkins as well and he can choose either the hot chocolate drink & mug prize or The Italian on the Hill restaurant free drink.

Many thanks to our sponsors and the hard-working volunteers at Maclean Golf Club during these trying times. Let us not forget the people risking their lives to look after the sick… we applaud you.
