Support your community radio station

Geoff Helisma |  Look out for the TLCFM 100.3 stand in the central area of the Yamba River Markets this Sunday September 23. Members of the community radio station will be providing information about how the station operates and talking to people about how to become involved. “Throughout September we’ve been doing our 2018 Community Radio Supporter Drive,” TLC’s president, Peter Finucan, said. “By supporting TLC, people help us to play a range of good music and provide programming for schoolkids and listeners of all ages from our Lower Clarence community.” The station is seeking subscriptions. “We are asking for a donation of $20 (or $10 for concession supporters),” Mr Finucan said. “If you are a family, corporate or really, really love us, you could give $50; but whatever works for you? “Make the donation at the markets and we propose to give you a gift of flowers, generously contributed by Yamba Flowers. “And all supporters will be included in the mega prize draw for lots of freebie vouchers at our local businesses – cafes, supermarkets, and other great outlets. “Once again this year, there are some major restaurant and accommodation prizes as well.” TLCFM is a registered charity, so donations are tax deductible.
