It was another exciting afternoon on the water with a number of boats jostling for the position in the Port Of Yamba Yacht Club, Race 12.
‘Triton’ skippered by Bill Granger came home first on handicap; second place Rob Laurie on ‘Taken It “Easy’ and third Graeme Fleming on ‘Welsh Dragon’. Well done to all their crews!
A big congratulations to Rob Laurie and his crew on ‘Taken it Easy’ after winning the midweek Summer racing series. Rob and crew, Jim O’Keefe, Paul Morris and Todd Bleach on Wednesday brought the boat home to victory for the series; second in the series was ‘Welsh Dragon’ skippered by Graeme Fleming and ‘Pacioli’ skippered by Victor Holmes came in third.
The fleet of 9 boats that competed, had some changeable weather conditions to contend with on the ‘mighty’ Clarence River over the 12 week competition.
