Successful CRU3A AGM

Ashby-Hair-Spa-Website-Advert   CRU3A held a successful AGM on Tuesday 2nd August. President Robyn Adams welcomed special guests Federal MP Kevin Hogan and Mayor Ritchie Williamson and the 71 members present. Robyn reminded us that we number nearly 500 now, with 30 different groups. She thanked the committee and group leaders for their continuing hard work. Annual reports were presented and accepted. The committee for 2016 -2017 are: President – Robyn Adams; Vice President –Oliver Millington; Secretary – Deb Thomson; Treasurer – Belinda Flowers; Committee – Laura O’Brien, Graham La Motte, Elizabeth Irons, Brent Walsh, Raelene Blood, Jill Groth; Ian Imrie has accepted the role of Public Officer Robyn acknowledged retiring committee members Annette Burns, Ros Higgins and Sandra Gregor. The ‘Social Activity Group’ are holding the ‘Very Trivial Pursuit’ day, beginning at 11.30am on Wednesday, August 17 at the Treelands Drive Community Centre. Tables can be organised as you arrive so just turn up with your lunch – in a brown paper bag (just like your school days). There will prizes for the winning table (of 4 or 5 or 6). Fancy dress relating to school days is encouraged and prizes awarded. Favourite memories recalled with some exaggeration. Many of the questions have come from the groups themselves.
