Subway® Restaurants joins forces with Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service to help raise funds and save lives

cvi   To celebrate its new association with the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service, Subway® Restaurants (SUBWAY) in Northern New South Wales will be supporting the life-saving rescue service with a special fundraising day. On Saturday 30th April, customers visiting all participating* SUBWAY stores in northern New South Wales can take advantage of a “Buy One Get One Free” offer on any Footlong® sub and medium cup drink, and show their support for the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service with a gold coin donation. Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service General Manager, Mr Kris Beavis, said he was delighted SUBWAY had come on board as a charity partner in 2016. “We rely heavily on our community partners to help us raise much needed funds to continue to provide a high standard of aero-medical, and search and rescue services for people in the northern NSW community”, Mr Beavis said. “Having partners on board like SUBWAY means our life-saving work continues to be a free 24/7 service to the community,” Mr Beavis concluded. SUBWAY Northern NSW Marketing Manager Matt Foster is expecting a positive community response to their inaugural “Buy One Get One Free Day”. “The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service provides a unique service in our local community and given our 120 store strong footprint in northern NSW, we believe a partnership with the Service is a fantastic fit,” Foster said.  “We expect plenty of excitement from the local community on our “Buy One Get One Free Day” and hope people will dig deep,” Mr Foster concluded.
