Maclean HS Year 8 student Max has built his own Viking warrior boat after studying a unit of work on the Vikings for history. Students in the Multi categorical class utilise many practical strategies to demonstrate their understanding of the concepts that they have studied.

Year 7 student Kyla has enjoyed participating in the inquiry- based learning unit studying sustainable housing. She has included solar panels, insulation, garden- based waste disposal,breezeways, and shade areas. The students in the Multi categorical class have researched all of the information before they designed and planned their houses. Of course they have been constructed using recycled materials.
