Start ups to pop up at Yamba Shopping Fair

cvreview-imagesc   Local start ups and small businesses will soon have the opportunity to pump up their sales by taking advantage of a new pop up space in Yamba Shopping Fair. Yamba Shopping Fair owner Westlawn Property Trust is trialling a new pop up concept, giving smaller traders a low cost way to showcase their products in a retail environment. The concept offers 120sqm of space with a variety of sizes available, starting from 2sqm to larger. This means business owners can have a stall space that suits them on a casual, short term or ongoing basis. Westlawn Property Trust managing director Peter Fahey says the pop up initiative is all about supporting fledgling local businesses. “We are offering this space as an opportunity for people who might have a micro business they are currently operating from home or from a market, to step up to the next level of trading inside a shopping centre,” he said. “They can test the waters to see what works for their business and to try out different marketing strategies with the thousands of customers who visit the centre each week. “I think this pop up space will be a great experience for locals who have always wanted to have a retail store but don’t have the upfront capital to commit to a long term lease. “The space is in an ideal position at the very front and centre of Yamba Shopping Fair and it’s a fantastic time to be in the centre in the lead up to Christmas, which is the busiest time of year.” For more information, please contact Emily Rippon 0455 773 370 or Paul Turk on 0407 664 555.
