St Matthew’s Christmas Services
Our annual Fête was once again very successful and well attended by the public.
It is always such a pleasure to open our Church and facilities up to the community and share a day of fun and fellowship. Patrons enjoyed delicious Devonshire teas as well as the very tasty bacon & egg burgers and sausage sandwich. There was quite a large White Elephant stall which always proves very popular with the patrons, cooking, sewing, craft, toy, linen & lace and book stalls which were also well patronised.
The recent men’s breakfast was enjoyed by all who attended and Carl Boulton and Richard Parmenter gave a very informative and interesting talk on their “Love of flying”.
This year St Matthew’s are holding a Christmas street party on Saturday December 19 at 5.30pm on the lawns in front of the Church and we would like to invite family, friends and neighbours who live in the vicinity to come along and join with us. A sausage sizzle and bread rolls will be provided. BYO drinks, chairs and a hat.
