Sharing the journey

Ed, October is Mental Health Month and is a time to reflect on our own mental health and wellbeing and the importance of good social connections.  With this in mind, Our Healthy Clarence organised a sausage sizzle and ‘Healthy Minds & Wellbeing’ street stall held at the CWA in River Street Maclean last Wednesday. The objective was to engage with the community and provide information on how the community can access services and information on mental health. We would like to thank the CWA Maclean branch for supporting us and providing the space for our stall holders, Home Hardware Maclean for providing the BBQ and marquee, Walters Butchers for donating the sausages and Spar Maclean for donating the bread, condiments and serviettes. Thank you to RAMHP and all the service providers for coming along and sharing their information on the various types of mental health services available in the Lower Clarence. Its times like this when you appreciate how generous our local businesses can be and for this we thank you for supporting us and sharing the journey.
