Clarence Valley residents are being praised for their kind generosity by women’s charity Share the Dignity, following their March drive to receive and donate personal hygiene and sanitary items to at-risk and vulnerable women within the community, and to help them maintain their dignity.

Carol Starkey, who has been passionately involved with Share the Dignity for many years, said she and other locals affiliated with the charity including Liz Robinson, Courtney McGrath and Stuart Murphy, “would dearly love to express our thanks to the amazing people of the Clarence Valley.”

“Your contribution to our Share the Dignity March drive has been brilliant,” Ms Starkey said gratefully, adding the items which have been generously donated will be distributed to women in need throughout Grafton, Casino, Lismore, and surrounding communities.

Since 2015, Share the Dignity drives have collected and distributed more than three million sanitary products to women in need.

Describing the drives as valuable community services, Ms Starkey said it is wonderful to receive so much support and countless donations from kind-hearted residents.
