During the month of April “Share the Dignity” is calling on the public to support women within our community who are doing it tough, by donating sanitary items at collection points around the valley. Gulmarrad resident Liz Robinson has organised several drop boxes for the community to donate a box of tampons or a packet of sanitary napkins, to help other ladies less fortunate. Ms Robinson is calling on people in the Grafton area to come on board to help out. “We need more volunteers in the Grafton area to help out,” said Ms Robinson. “Also any business that would like to participate can phone me and I can register them.” “Share the Dignity” not only support homeless women and women living in shelters with basic sanitary items, but also help farmers wives and daughters who are ‘doing it tough’ on the land.
