Serving respect, hope and Christmas lunch

The New School of Arts Neighbourhood House ‘Soup-a-Stars’ are gearing up for their third Christmas Day lunch. The doors to the Hall will be open at 12pm on the 25th December, welcoming all, regardless of situation or background. By serving a nutritious Christmas lunch in a friendly and sociable atmosphere, The New School of Arts hopes to strengthen and empower our community: feeding hope and nourishing a sense of belonging and inclusion. Will you be alone this Christmas? Join us for a free lunch, share the day with others and meet new people in our historic hall. Do you wish to volunteer for Christmas? Sign up to support the event through Volunteering Clarence Valley, Phone Sue or Lainie on 6640 3812 or 6640 3800. It is a wonderful way to give this Christmas. We are also seeking donations of food or money. Can you support us? A list of desirable items can be issued upon request or by calling 6640 3800. Donations can be left at The New School of Arts in South Grafton from 7.30am to 6pm. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Christmas doesn’t have to be as painful as the jokes in the crackers and you won’t feel so silly in your crazy paper hat when there’s a hall full of people doing the same.
