There has been fantastic support from our ladies during the competition with solid numbers of locals and visitors participating. Once again, many thanks to Jamie Corkill for his generous sponsorship of the competition during the summer break.

Conditions were perfect for golf last Saturday morning for the nine ladies who played the single Stableford competition. Kathy Parker was still on fire, backing up last Friday’s win with another. Kathy won with 35pts and r/up was Jane Bonner with 32pts, on a countback from Jennifer Fagan. Kathy also won the NTP prize.

This week marks the beginning of the ladies 2022 golfing season with over 70 ladies registered to play in Wednesday’s Opening Day 11-hole Par 3 event. Friday will be a single Stableford.

Ladies are reminded to register for all Wednesday games via the sheet located in the golfers’ lounge as they are done by draw only. Friday entries should be made using the online booking system.
