A large-scale search for a missing 73 year-old-woman at Brooms Head, has so far been unsuccessful.

Coffs/Clarence Police District Chief Inspector Reid said yesterday that the search was continuing led by a Police Rescue search coordinator with the assistance of SES, RFS, National parks, Water Police and Dog Squad.

“Search efforts have been ongoing since she was reported missing on Tuesday. It’s been heartening to see many volunteers, fellow campers etc also assisting with the search,” Chief Inspector Reid said.

The search is continuing today.
