Women in the Clarence Valley will have the opportunity to attend a forum that is being organised by Clarence Valley Women’s Inc, speaking at the forum will be celebrity guest speaker Rhoda Roberts AO.
Rhoda Roberts AO is a Bundjalung women who has given distinguished service to performing arts, leadership, advocacy and promoting contemporary indigenous culture. Rhoda is Head of First Nations Programming at Sydney Opera House; Rhoda is also Festival Director of Boomerang Festival.
In 2019, Rhoda was recognised with a Ros Bower Award from the Australia Council; in 2018, she received the Helpman Award – The Sue Nattrass Award; in 1998 she received a Deadly Award for Broadcasting and in 1997, she was recognised with a Sidney Myer Facilitators award.
With a diverse range of international and national industry experience within commercial, community and non-profit organisations, Rhoda is a sought-after speaker and performer in theatre, film, television and radio.
