Marshall (OKell) lives for his music; deep, raw, honest, dirty blues that grabs you by the throat and yet, like the best of medicines, soothes away the orneriest of maladies. Pure guts, sweat and emotion make for a brew that intoxicates, placates and excites, just like the best of blues music should. Okell graced the Jambalaya Stage at the 2016 Bluesfest and has a swag of awards in his kit bag, including the Blues gong at last Year’s Dolphin Awards. Marshall plays in duo mode at the Pacific Hotel this Saturday night October 7.
