Rain no deterrent for Hot Rod crowds

The looming dark clouds and heavy showers around the Clarence Valley did not detract the crowds from packing into Yamba’s CBD on Saturday morning, to check out the annual Yamba Hot Rod static street display.

This year’s event saw 446 hot rods take to the streets, during their 26th Rod Run event.

During the groups visit to Yamba, they travelled to the Iluka Bowling Club on Thursday and the Brushgrove Hotel on Friday, with students from nearby Cowper Public School paying a visit to check out the colourful hot rods.

There were plenty of ‘cool’ hot rods on display in Yamba on Saturday.
