Quota International of Lower Clarence

Quota welcomed our newest member, Deborah Scifleet, who received her badge at the December meeting. Deb is already showing that she has the caring, sharing gift that Quota is known for. Members have been proud to represent Quota at the presentation assemblies at local schools where Quota awards have been given to deserving students. As the year winds down Quota members are already planning for 2016. First item on our agenda is our January meeting where we will have Carrie Fairweather as guest speaker. Then in February Quota will be hosting a Speech and Hearing Expo at Yamba Bowling Club. Put Saturday February 13 on your calendar as the day you can find out all about hearing services in the Clarence Valley. You can even have a hearing assessment done. Keep your eyes out for more information on flyers around the Lower Clarence or contact Jill Brown on 6646 9660 for more information. Back by popular demand is Quota Antiques & Collectables Fair. To be held in the first half of 2016, the fair will offer traders as well as the general public a chance to buy and sell their vintage, retro and old wares. We are also asking anyone who would like to display their special collections to bring them along. For more information contact Pat Riordan on 6646 2273. Winding down for 2015, members recently celebrated another year with an enjoyable evening at the Marina Café Yamba. Thank you to management and staff for a delicious meal. The atmosphere was electric as we enjoyed each other’s company, were surprised by Santa and then watched a storm brewing across the skies. For more information about Quota and its programs contact Ann 0400 501 347 or Jill 6646 9660. If you wish to join us at one of our meetings, Quota meets at Yamba Bowling Club Boardroom at 5:30 on 2nd Tuesday of each month. Suzanne Monin
