Quilt exhibition returns this weekend

The Maclean Patchwork and Quilters are holding a quilt exhibition over the weekend of July 8-10 at the Jim Thompson Pavilion, Maclean Showgrounds.
Due to Covid this is the first one for three years, so we are all very excited to be able to bring together quilters from across the region to showcase their creative work.
There is a beautiful queen size quilt being raffled, this was made pre Covid, so we are ready for the draw on Sunday 10.
There will be light refreshment on sale so come early and stay late, doors open at 10am and close at 4pm (2pm on Sunday).
There are 11 judged categories from junior to experienced on show, with prizes awarded. Judged entries as well as ‘Viewer’s Choice award’, ‘Judge’s Best of Show’ and the ‘Wilga Bolton Award’
Entries from all over the Northern Rivers will be displayed and judged.
Entry fee into the Exhibition will be $5. Refreshments will be available, as well as a sales table. Some quilts may be available for sale, so take a look see.
Our group meet every Tuesday 9am – 2pm at The Maclean Uniting Church Hall, Church Street, Maclean. New members welcome.
