On this beautiful Yamba early Tuesday morning, we played the January monthly medal on the front nine. Although numbers were again limited, a field of 10 contested the event. It was Stroke and

Putts day, so you just had to tough out the bad holes, no pickups. Regardless of this the scoring was very competitive. The winner with a nett 31 was Denis Kelly, runner up on nett 34 was Kevin

Moran and 3rd on nett 37 ½ was John Grant. The best putter of the day was Denis Kelly with 15 putts. Some of the lads wanted to call in the stewards because the winner could only amass 20

Stableford points for 18 holes yesterday.

NTP’s went to Kevin Moran on the 3rd and Tony Turner on the 9th.

Many thanks to the DR Boys for swapping tees with us today, after much confusion I think everything worked out fine.
