Jim Hourigan (pictured at Yamba Fair last week) likes to paint and when all is done and dusted, profits from his labours of love are donated to charity. “It used to be delivering pictures to hospitals,” he says, “but this time I’ll probably give any profit to the Maclean hospital auxiliary or something like that”. Keep an eye out for Jim and his artworks, which will be on display at the Yamba Bowling Club over coming weeks; before he packs up his pictures, paints and paper and moves to the Grafton District Services Club for stint there.
